Dr. Roberts attended graduate school at The Ohio State University. She has several publications out: "Corneal Topography: A Review of Terms and Concepts", "The accuracy of 'Power' Maps to Display Curvature Data in Corneal Topography Systems", and "Characterization of the Inherent Error in a Spherically - Biased Corneal Topography System in Mapping a Radially Aspheric Surface."

Research interests include: Intra-operative corneal topography in penetrating keratoplasty; accuracy of corneal topography; laser effects on trabecular meshwork endothelial cells; and topography of corneal disease.
