Additional Information Dr. Lewis attended graduate school at The University of Virginia and is currently a Research Scientist and member of the Research Faculty. Dr. Lewis was awarded a Fulbright award (2005-6) to complete research in corneal biomechanical response following excimer laser surgery. Dr. Lewis will complete a one-year fellowship in the College of Optometry at Cardiff University (Wales), collaborating with various internationally recognized corneal structural biophysicists throughout the UK. Research interests include: Cell and tissue biomechanical response, Biosurface interface properties, Corneal cell biology, Wound healing, Excimer laser surgery, Ocular surface topography and structural changes during wound healing. Advanced imaging including Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI) studies of amblyopia and nystagmus in collaboration with Columbus Children’s Hospital. |
