Additional Information

Dr. Hirsh graduated cum laude with a B.A from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He received his MD degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. His internal medicine internship was at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He followed with a residency in neurology at Stony Brook University on Long Island, and fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology at both the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He also did his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital. He was board certified in ophthalmology in 1995.
